ワイキキからカイルアへの道「パリハイウェイ」で地滑り発生。現在通行止めになっています。
2/18（月曜日）の午後にカイルアに向かう道「パリハイウェイ」で地滑りが発生しました。
この地滑りの影響で道路は閉鎖されています。
最近のハワイは雨が多く、今週末の大雨が降ったのも影響しているようで、今回の地滑りは少なくとも２箇所あったとのことです。
この土砂崩れで43歳の女性が重傷を負い病院へ運ばれました。
また、9歳と2歳の2人の子供も病院に運ばれましたが軽傷です。

修復に今週末までかかりそうということで、ハワイでのドライブ時、特にカイルアに行く際のルート選びに注意しましょう。

パリハイウェイ閉鎖の際のカイルアへの行き方は
今朝2/19(火）も朝から雨が降りつずいており、また地滑りが起こることも考えられます。
パリハイウェイは現在通行止めになっていますので、車でカイルアに行かれる方はパリハイウェイを避けてください。
ワイキキからだとこのような通路になりそうです。
今後カイルア、ラニカイ方面にドライブをする方は最新情報をチェックしてください。
現在は、ドックルーが土砂崩れをクリアするために作業していますが、
高速道路を再開するための見込みはまだ未定とのことです。

If you live in Enchanted Lake or Waimānalo, you may want to take Kalanianaʻole Highway instead around Makapuʻu.
